The Atwood Warranty Policy applies exclusively to all items that are sold and delivered directly by Atwood through our official and authorized sales channels, including our official website and verified online platforms. This warranty does not extend to products that are manufactured, sold, or distributed by other brands, or purchased through unauthorized third-party sellers or unofficial resellers.

To ensure the integrity and quality of our service, warranty validation is strictly non-transferable and is valid only for the original purchaser of the product. Atwood is unable to guarantee the authenticity of items purchased through unauthorized channels. As such, we cannot offer warranty coverage for any product whose origin, authenticity, or purchase details cannot be verified through our records.

For full warranty protection, we strongly recommend purchasing Atwood products through our official platforms or authorized partners only. If you have any doubts about whether a seller is authorized, please contact our customer service team for verification prior to purchase.

The warranty period begins on the date of delivery of the product to the customer. During this period, Atwood is committed to ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. If a manufacturing defect or functional issue covered under the warranty is identified, Atwood will, at its discretion, repair or replace the affected product or component at no additional cost to the customer.

All services under this warranty are subject to verification and must comply with the terms outlined in our warranty policy.

To initiate a warranty claim, customers must provide a valid order number and clear evidence of the issue, such as photographs, videos, or a detailed description. Our customer service team will review the claim and provide further instructions.

What is covered under the Warranty?

Our warranty is designed to provide peace of mind by covering defects that arise from the manufacturing process or material quality. The following types of issues are covered under the warranty:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials: This includes any faults or imperfections in the materials used to produce the product that may affect its performance, appearance, or durability. Examples include cracks, structural weakness in frames, faulty stitching, or deformities in molded parts that are present at the time of delivery or develop under normal usage.
  • Functional defects: Any problems that affect the intended operation of the product due to design or production errors are covered. This may include malfunctioning adjustment mechanisms (such as tilt, height, or reclining functions), broken levers, faulty gas lifts, or any component that hinders the normal use of the product as advertised.
  • Missing parts or components: If your product arrives incomplete or with missing accessories, components, or hardware that are essential for assembly or proper usage, these will be replaced at no additional cost. This includes screws, wheels, armrests, lumbar support, or any other included items specified in the product manual or description.

All warranty claims are subject to assessment and verification by our support team. To initiate a claim, customers should provide the order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos or videos showing the defect.

Please note that the warranty is valid from the date of delivery and applies only to products used under normal conditions for their intended purpose. For details on what is not covered under the warranty, please refer to the exclusions section.

What is not covered under the warranty?

Our warranty is designed to protect against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. However, it does not cover certain types of damage or issues that fall outside the scope of manufacturing faults. Specifically, the warranty does not apply to the following:

  • Normal wear and tear: This includes, but is not limited to, the natural degradation of materials over time, such as fraying or loosening of mesh fabric, wear on castors or wheels, deterioration of armrest padding, surface scratches, fading, and any other signs of regular use or aging.
  • Damage due to misuse or improper handling: Any damage resulting from incorrect usage, failure to follow the product’s instructions or installation guidelines, overloading beyond recommended weight limits, or using the product for unintended purposes (e.g., standing on a chair or using it outdoors when it’s designed for indoor use) is not covered.
  • Environmental and accidental damage: The warranty excludes any damage caused by environmental factors such as exposure to excessive heat, moisture, humidity, or direct sunlight. It also does not cover accidents, spills, water or fire damage, pest infestation, or damage resulting from moving, transporting, or dropping the product.
  • Unauthorised modifications or repairs: If the product has been altered, repaired, or modified using parts or methods not approved by us, or if non-genuine components have been installed, the warranty will be void. This includes changes made to the product structure, mechanisms, or design without prior authorisation.
  • Third-party damage: Any damage caused by a third-party service provider, contractor, or courier, or during self-assembly by the customer (if not performed correctly), is not covered under this warranty.
  • Service call charges for non-defective products: If a customer requests an on-site inspection or technician visit after receiving operational guidance from our customer service team, and no product fault is found during the visit, a transportation and labour fee will apply. This covers the cost of deploying service personnel and does not fall under warranty service.

Warranty Verification:

Please note that Atwood products do not include a physical warranty card. Instead, your order number will serve as the official proof of purchase and is required for warranty verification and support services. We recommend keeping your order confirmation email or invoice in a safe place for future reference.

The warranty period begins on the date of delivery to the original purchaser and is valid only for products purchased through Atwood’s official website or authorized sales channels. This ensures that we can accurately verify the authenticity and purchase details of your product.

Service surcharge (Based in Singapore only):

  • Customers are entitled to one complimentary service visit within the first six months from the date of purchase. This free service applies exclusively to issues related to the quality or manufacturing defects of the product. It is designed to ensure that any initial problems are addressed promptly without additional cost to the customer.
  • After the initial six-month period, any further service requests will be subject to a standard labor fee of S$60. This fee covers the cost of the technician’s time and travel expenses for all types of service visits, regardless of the nature of the issue.
  • Should any replacement parts be required as part of a warranty claim due to a quality defect, these parts will be provided to the customer at no additional cost. Our priority is to ensure that your product is restored to full functionality without imposing extra charges for covered components.
  • For services that are not related to product quality, such as requests to change the size of a gas lift or other customization adjustments, a labor fee of S$60 will always apply. These types of services are considered optional modifications and are therefore excluded from free warranty servicing.

Faulty or Damaged Items Upon Delivery

  • We take great care to ensure that all our products are delivered in pristine condition.
  • In the rare event that you receive a product that is faulty or damaged, please notify Atwood within 24 hours of delivery.
  • To help us resolve the issue promptly, kindly provide clear photos or videos of the defect via WhatsApp at (6484 4588) or email (support@atwood.com.sg), along with your order number.
  • Once we have assessed the situation, we will arrange for the replacement of either the affected part or the entire item, depending on what is deemed most appropriate.
  • Please note that minor issues such as loose screws, or the presence of plastic labels or protective wrappers, can typically be resolved by the customer and do not require technician assistance.
  • If an on-site technician is requested to handle such minor concerns, a labour and transport fee of S$60 will be applicable.
